Growing Unique, Er, Strange Plants

.
Ok, I just have to share this GardenWeb thread: What's the weirdest/oddest/unique thing you're WSing this season?

Feel free to have a good chuckle and contribute if your growing/grow/grown something odd! No, it doesn't have to be something you're going to WS. Join in the fun - you know you want to! :)

Hi Tina! I'm back and posting. It was a tough holiday season for me also so it took longer than usual for me to recover from my annual Holiday Depression. And the weirdest thing (so far) that I'm ws is clematis. I'm not even sure that it can be done, but what the hey. The seeds cost me nothing. I'll be posting about it tomorrow.

Hey there Old Roses!
So sorry you'd had a rough time of it, but so darn glad to see you posting again!
:)
As I recall, there were quite a few people who had awesome success doing clematis with WS. But I think they're finicky - some can take a few years to germ, so don't chuck your containers if you don't see anything this year.
Good luck with them!
