And It's...

...snowing.
Yes, the white crap is falling from the sky again.
Bummer.
It's suppose to get to almost 70 next week, so I'll bide my time and stare at seedlings on the plant stand. And repot. And prune. And transplant. And water. And fold more newspaper pots. And stare. Oh, and sow more seed.
I have a feeling this ridiculously long winter is only turning into an enabler for me.
Exactly where do I think I'm going to plant everything?

Thankfully just more rain here this morning. I finally have a small strip of bare ground. Of course it's at the edge of the woods where I can't easily get to it yet. I hope that the warm temps do come next week and melt the rest. Hang in there - May will be here soon.

I woke up to a very wintry scene here in London this morning!
I went to the allotments to take some photos for an entry I've just done.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend! xx

Hiya, Apple,
thanks for stopping by!
I'm glad your white crap is finally going bye-bye. According to the temps for the week, you should have completely bare ground - at least by the weekend! Yup, May is coming, but at this rate I feel as if we'll still have snow. Grrr!

Hiya, Flighty,
thanks for popping by.
I just went and looked at your entry - holy cow! I feel bad you got beemed by the white stuff, Isn't it odd this late in the season for you? Like Apple said, May is coming! We just gotta hang in there, though it sure seems a long way off yet.

Actually we're actually more likely to see snow now than at Christmas! Mind you there's been very little at all in the recent past.
Last Thursday here was the warmest day yet this year so it just goes to show how crazy the weather can be!

I forgot to mention that I've added you to my Lawn Loungers favourites list! xx

it snowed here this week too - I'm feeling the same way about my plants - some of them are getting pretty big - and we have more than a month to go until they can go outside...

since you asked - the peppers are doing really well - I transplanted them into bigger pots this week, and after the initial shock and droopiness, they popped back up and have grown several new leaves this week...
hope the weather gets better for you!

Flighty,
Wow, I think I'd much rather have snow for Christmas than at planting time!
Weather is definitely screwy this year. Thanks for adding me to the list!

Hey there, Breanne,
thanks for dropping in.
Yeah, it really does seem like this winter is never going to end. It's a real pain to keep nursing seedlings through when they'd be much happier out in the real world.
Glad your peppers are doing well. Maybe we can actually get something out in the ground before fall hits. lol, soon we'll be complaining about the heat.

ha ha... I never complain about the heat... (maybe because it rarely gets that hot here that's there's any need to complain)

Hey there, Breanne!
I don't dare ever complain about the heat - it might go away! lol.
