Onwards & Outwards

I got around to getting some more WS containers out, so my total is now at 36.
The poor milk jugs are under 6 inches of snow.
Not cool that I look out and can't even see them, but I know they're under there waiting patiently for spring.

D is going to build me a nice plant stand this year with these Plant Stand Instructions.
Of course, he's going to overdrive the lights for it. I think it's a 'more power' man thing. But, I'm not complaining - the more light the better!

Now I just have to save up enough pennies to get it done before March so I can get my inside stuff started on time. Kim sent me some really yummy sounding veg seeds that I'm dying to try. I suppose I could WS them and be done with it, but I want to see something growing. That's the only problem with WSing - it's pretty much fuss-free and hands off. Not good for wanting to get my hands dirty and baby some seedlings!

I'm at 20 containers, but I still have a crapload more to do. We just bought another bag of soil over the weekend. I'm guessing I'll probably end up with over 50 containers. I need to stay out of the GW seed exchange....

Colleen,
you go girl! Fun, ain't it?
I can't wait to see your results. More soil? Ha, I bet you're going to end up with much more than 50. Husband think you're nuts yet? lol.

Absolutely! Between buying soil every time we go out and telling him that "no, we need to buy this instead of that because I need the container" he is quite sure I've finally gone over the edge. He's a good sport, though. We went to Sam's Club last week and he was over by the bakery section and spied some cookies in a nice, clear plastic container. He said, "hey Colleen---this is the kind of container you want, right?" Granted, he and the girls are "Cookie Monsters" but it was sweet all the same :-)

And, you might be right. I'm looking at my seed box now, which is totally full, and I still have seeds coming from three more people that I exchanged with. 50 might have been a low estimate. Yippee :-)

Have a great day!
