First Sunday of the month, so here is the next Grow Project post.
The ones WS'd in April bloomed at the beginning of June, but they aren't looking so great this month. Of course, it has been rain every other day and only in the 40's to 60's F. I'm hoping they'll get a second wind.
The one's started inside in May are pretty much at a stand still. It's starting to warm up a bit, so they should take off soon.
There was only a 50 percent germination rate on the one's sown directly in the ground and they also haven't done much. Very disappointing :( But, as you can see, they're about the same size as the ones above that are a month older.
The one's started in containers are so-so. Some look nice, but some just aren't looking good at all.
So far, they haven't really done all that well for me no matter what the planting method. I've got my fingers crossed that they'll all pick up soon and surprise me!

Mine aren't going gangbusters, either, but I bet the increased sunshine and warm temps will kick-start them this month. Happy 4th!
I'm glad you tried so many different planting methods -- it's interesting to see the differences (or lack of, in some cases!)
I'm with Monica - betting all of this hot weather we have in store for us will kick them into high gear.

Okay at least I know know I'm not alone. Mine kid of look like your last few picture's. Certainly not that tall and lush one's that Colleen has over at her place. I for one shall blame the weather ;)
We are in totally different climates. We have been in the 90's and humid...:/ I can enjoy looking at your cool weather plants. I have never had much luck with nasturtium seeds. I'm going to try again in the cooler temp. because I like them so much. I hope yours do well.
Mine started off like yours but with some of the rain we had got a bit of a boost and are now blooming! Hope yours catch up and bloom.

yeah, I figured with my track record with sowing seeds from flowers that I actually want to grow well, I'd better spread it out a bit. lol.

We can't really go by anything Collen grows as her entire hand is green! lol. Blaming the weather seems the best option right now. (we'll take all the credit later when they turn into monster bloomers).

I seriously think I'd take your climate over mine any day! :) You may not be able to grow nasties, but I think all the other things you can grow definitely makes up for it. (envious - who, me?)
